Life as Huxley described it in the World State with life in the United States today

Comparing Brave New World with the United States!

There are many things that are similar to our lives in Brave New World. It’s funny how a man could have so much imagination like to write about the feature.Huxley's predictions are very cruated and similar to our present today. Community, Identity, Stability is the motto of the World State just like the U.S. has its own mottos to represent it country. The similarities are in religion, economy, death, government, science, and drugs are the most similar thing in our present now. First religion Community is in part a result of identity and stability. It is also achieved through a religion that satirizes Christianity- a religion that encourages people to reach solidarity through sexual orgy. And it is achieved by organizing life so that a person is almost never alone. In the United States Christianity are a big deal and the biggest religion. Every one goes to church together never alone. Economy they all work together in the State just like in our present now. In the United States we use sport to support our community and the States keeps the economy rolling by sports called Obstacle Golf. Golf is one of the most famous sports in our present. The brave new world insists that death is a natural and not unpleasant process. In the United States people knew that one day we all are going to die. In the State they took people lives before getting old and in our present not all people get to the age of getting old and die before. People didn’t have to get old in the State because they preserve them from getting old. In our present a lot of people get surgeries of treatment to preserve them selves too. In the State the government controls people by soma to keep them from suffering and motivate them to work and live happy. Soma is a drug used by everyone in the brave new world. It calms people and gets them high at the same time, but without hangovers or nasty side effects. In the United States people use drugs for depression, to get happy, pains and disease. Genetic engineering is a term that has come into use in recent years as scientists have learned to manipulate RNA and DNA, the proteins in every cell that determine the basic inherited characteristics of life. In the State didn't use the phrase but he describes genetic engineering when he explains how his new world breeds prescribed numbers of humans artificially for specified qualities. Science is just as advance as it was in the book of Huxley.
