Propaganda is a set of messages aimed at influencing the opinions or behavior of large numbers of of people

Propaganda in Brave New World

In Brave New World there were propaganda houses which had vast studies for emotional engineering to motivate and control people. Propaganda emanates from those who want to control behavior on a large scale, just as the World Controllers of Brave New World want to maintain stability. Huxley argues, propaganda represents the principal tool of the people. Through commercials, subliminal messages, and careful suppression of challenging truths, Huxley declares, propaganda is infiltrating the language of society, becoming perhaps the only way to speak at all. Propaganda Analysis, Huxley emphasizes that government and other authority’s individual freedom, compassion, and intelligence—the very qualities missing in the dystopia of Brave New World can guide the fully conscious, fully human mind into a truly free, truly human future. Bernard and Helmboltz discuss their individualism and thier desire to find some meaning in file.

The Hospital was another type of Propaganda, by keeping candy and toys; so when they grow up and were time for them to die they will think only good thing of death.
Transference propaganda
was one of the propaganda in Brave New World. It found in the book of Brave New World; “Cleanliness is next to Fordliness” This slogan connects respect for Ford with the saying traditionally associated with the Christian church, “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”. This helps establish Ford as a divine power in the minds of the people in the society of Brave New World.

Appeal to fear propaganda
In Brave New World they make the babies hate book and flower. also made them fear of the outside of Utopia.

Use of Drugs
One of the most famous propaganda was the Soma pill to keep them happy.
Also use a "vibro-vacuum" for toning up skin and muscles. In a world where no woman bears a child, women need periodic Pregnancy Substitutes- chemical pills and injections to give them the hormonal benefits that pregnancy would give their bodies. And one fashion item is a "Malthusian belt" loaded with contraceptives, rather like a soldier's bandolier with magazines of bullets. So women won’t look fat and not suffer. All women and men were attractive.

I think propaganda was successful in Brave New World becuause like that the goverment had control over the poeple.

Shakespeare

In the book a lot of Brave New World

Huxley, like other upper class Englishmen, was familiar with history and literature. He expected his readers to know the plays of Shakespeare, to recognize names like Malthus and Marx, to be comfortable to determine in advance, but it is most importantly a word from Christian theology describing. He has read such forbidden books as the works of Shakespeare and the Bible, and knows history and philosophy. Indeed, he resembles the Oxford professors that Huxley knew, and his discussion of happiness with the Savage resembles a tutorial between an Oxford don and his most challenging student. Shakespeare world in Brave New World were the way how people express their thought and feelings as John. Used Shakespeare words to express the feeling tours Lenina, also to respect her. John looks at both worlds through the lenses of the religion he acquired on the Reservation. A mixture of Christianity and American Indian beliefs and the old fashioned morality he learned from reading Shakespeare. His beliefs contradict those of the Brave New World, as he shows in his struggle over sex with Lenina. Lenina can not understand that John avoids sex with her because he loves her and does not want to do something that he thinks in his old fashioned, part Indian and part of Christian. John does every movement by Shakespearean words in ways he will not dishonor her. She embodies the conflict he feels between body and spirit, between love and lust. I think Huxley choose Shakespeare as a medium on John to change the belief of Utopia, because John was not agree with the life they were living in the State. John tries to change the live of Brave New World after his mother dies because of the soma. Eventually, the conflict is too much for him and he kills himself.

Morality

The Morality of Brave New World

In Brave New World is seen more like Christian morality but they don’t really use the word religion or Chris. They used the world Frod to represent the State controllers, in which religion encourages people to reach solidarity through sexual orgy, and it is achieved by organizing life so that a person is almost never alone. No one is born natural but fertilized by the process of Bokanovsky. This creates a society full of human clones, completely devoid of personality. Every person is conditioned to love three things: Henry Ford, their idol; soma, a wonder drug; and sex. The goal of their respective governments is the same, total control of society. The governments use similar tactics of manipulation, with the purpose of keeping the majority in ignorance and submission. So government drugs people with Soma (a pill to make people happy) to motivated to work. The government uses hypnopaedia, or sleep teaching, and also shock therapy as the main means of education for they see that. The government does its best to eliminate any painful emotion, which means every deep feeling, every passion, is gone. In Brave New World Huxley shows that the government recognizes the dangers of negative emotions when the controller states. Government haves people of the World State under control the 24 hours a day and watch everything and every movement of everyone. All the people is divide into five main groups or castes one group are the leaderships, high and demanding intelligent, and no intelligent.

Many aspects of the Utopia of Brave New World feel uncomfortably like our world

Aspects of the Brave New World and how affects our present now!

Many aspects of the Utopia of Brave New World feel uncomfortable like our world today. In our world today we can be having sex in public. Who ever is will be arrested and no teenagers over 18 can have sex. In Utopia they all have sex even children, they used as a way to have everyone happy and encourage them to work. Their Christianity religion encourages people to reach solidarity through sexual orgy. In the Christianity religion does encourage but only marriages and is very private. The World States finds all this normal, but we consider abnormal and immoral. The way government uses a drug to keep people happy, so that they will keep doing their work. In the United States Government can not force people to work if they don’t want and it gives the certain time and day in their job. Job is also chosen by individuals. Also in the World States everyone belongs to everyone. The science of Brave New World is a vision of the future. We are cloning animal and Scientifics been taking about cloning people as well as in Brave New World. Technology has been increasing and coming with new things. Latter in time they are even going to invent fling car. The most disturbing aspect of the book was the children’s games; playing around having sex and playing with each others parts. I can’t imagine people having sex in public, because sex for us is something private. Fertilizing babies and the rules of a Utopia will affect my family. In a Utopia as Brave New World family does not exits and we all are used to have a family, marriage, and given birth to babies. I think the most fathers to reach are having sex in public and even little kids. Is hard to imagine seen that in our future, in incredible to be done by human in our present and in the future.

Life as Huxley described it in the World State with life in the United States today

Comparing Brave New World with the United States!

There are many things that are similar to our lives in Brave New World. It’s funny how a man could have so much imagination like to write about the feature.Huxley's predictions are very cruated and similar to our present today. Community, Identity, Stability is the motto of the World State just like the U.S. has its own mottos to represent it country. The similarities are in religion, economy, death, government, science, and drugs are the most similar thing in our present now. First religion Community is in part a result of identity and stability. It is also achieved through a religion that satirizes Christianity- a religion that encourages people to reach solidarity through sexual orgy. And it is achieved by organizing life so that a person is almost never alone. In the United States Christianity are a big deal and the biggest religion. Every one goes to church together never alone. Economy they all work together in the State just like in our present now. In the United States we use sport to support our community and the States keeps the economy rolling by sports called Obstacle Golf. Golf is one of the most famous sports in our present. The brave new world insists that death is a natural and not unpleasant process. In the United States people knew that one day we all are going to die. In the State they took people lives before getting old and in our present not all people get to the age of getting old and die before. People didn’t have to get old in the State because they preserve them from getting old. In our present a lot of people get surgeries of treatment to preserve them selves too. In the State the government controls people by soma to keep them from suffering and motivate them to work and live happy. Soma is a drug used by everyone in the brave new world. It calms people and gets them high at the same time, but without hangovers or nasty side effects. In the United States people use drugs for depression, to get happy, pains and disease. Genetic engineering is a term that has come into use in recent years as scientists have learned to manipulate RNA and DNA, the proteins in every cell that determine the basic inherited characteristics of life. In the State didn't use the phrase but he describes genetic engineering when he explains how his new world breeds prescribed numbers of humans artificially for specified qualities. Science is just as advance as it was in the book of Huxley.

The two greatest obscenities in the society of Brave New World are birth and mother

Mother and Birth

In Brave New World the two greatest obscenities in the society are mother and birth, because all mankind in utopia are artificially fertilizing. Like this is a perfect State they wanted only happiness for people and no pains. The society can achieve stability only when everyone is happy, and the brave new world tries hard to ensure that every person is happy. It does its best to eliminate any painful emotion. This is the reasons why females don’t give birth. The word mother is like the badness and insulting word for some one to say in the State. If a female give birth is against the laws of the State. So this is how the State creates babies they use a female egg and sperm of man to create babies that grow in bottles and are decanted. Nobody is allowed to become pregnant because nobody is born; only decanted from a bottle. All the babies are conditioned, physically and chemically in the bottle, and psychologically after birth, to make them happy citizens of the society with both a liking and an aptitude for the work they will do. Many females are born sterile by design; those who are not are trained by "Malthusian drill" to use contraceptives properly. The combination of genetic engineering, bottle birth, and sexual promiscuity means there is no monogamy, marriage, or family.
